How soon can you start a part-time job after enrollment?

You can start a part-time job within 1 to 2 months after enrollment.

Is there an exam required for part-time jobs?

No specific exam is required. Once you obtain permission for activities outside of your qualifications from the Immigration Bureau and pass a company’s interview, you can start working.

How can you find a job?

The school provides information about part-time job opportunities. Additionally, there are job fairs organized by companies, so if you are flexible about the type of job, you can find employment.

How much can you earn on average per month?

In Fukuoka Prefecture, with the minimum wage being 941 yen per hour, you can earn approximately 100,000 to 110,000 yen per month, working 28 hours a week for 4 weeks. (Note : During designated long school holidays, you can work up to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.)

How many hours can you work per week?

According to current law, you can work up to a maximum of 28 hours per week. You cannot work more than 28 hours. However, during designated long school holidays, you can work up to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
