Did NILS help you improve your Japanese proficiency?
- Tuncay Sizgin
-
Nils helped me to understand more spoken language, but you need to study much on your own and communicate with other native speakers to get to a good level of Japanese. Specially learning many kanjis on your own consuming Japanese television and reading books will help to improve.

How would you rate your teacher?
- Tuncay Sizgin
-
It depends on the teachers some teachers can explain the context really good and help each individual to improve, where in other cases some teachers teach the content in a slow pace. In my case I would like to learn in a much faster pace where we get more involved in using the language in a real environment.

How do you like Fukuoka?
- Tuncay Sizgin
-
Fukuoka is a really great city with many activities, it offers some good spots to enjoy nature and citylife. The restaurants are really great and the atmosphere of Fukuoka is really good. The peoples I meet in Fukuoka were really friendly and helped me a lot in the beginning when I lost my way and didn’t know where to go. This city is comfortable to live and the prices for food and rent are quite reasonable. It’s a great city with urban places like Hakata and Tenjin or natural places where you can enjoy the view to ocean or climb mountains in your free time!
