We had an excursion to Kumamoto! We worried about the weather because it had been raining when the day was coming. But we were quite lucky to have a very nice day! We visited one of the most active volcanoes in Japan, Mt. Aso, which is well-known for caldera. You can go up very close to the top crater which has a lake steaming up by the heat below.
