Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Many of our new students joined a parth held by the Ogori International Association last Saturday. Our students tried to talk with the local people in Japanese although they also had to use English or Chinese. However, they had a very good time with the members of the Association.
Here is a comment from Guillaume-san ギヨムさん from France. He learned the Japanese language before attending our program, so he wrote about the party both in Japanese and in English.



昨日のパーティーについて、よかったです。
なんかびっくりしましたけど。
年輩の方ばかりだったけど、みんなと簡単に仲良くできました。
年齢がぜんぜんちがいましたけど、いろいろな話ができました。
日本語がもっと上手にならなければならないと思いましたけど。上手に会話ができるように。
2時間ぐらいでしたけど、時間を感じませんでした。
もう少し話したいと思いましたけど、残念でした。
もう一度会えたらうれしいです。



About the party yesterday, it was more interesting than what we expected.
We were kind of surprised though.
Even if there are many senior citizens, we were able to get along with them very well, and exchange many thoughts.
Even if we were of different generations, we managed to find easily similar interests.
Many students told me they wish they could be much more proficient in the Japanese language, though.
It last 2 hours, but we didn’t feel the time passing by.
Too bad, we still have many things to discuss, and we feel like we can learn many things from Japanese people.
Most of us hope we’ll be able to hold another meeting soon.
