Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Jolene-san from Singapore learning Japanese language in the intensive program wrote a review on the international exchange party on May 12.



“The international exchange party was indeed an enriching experience for the new students to interact with the locals. They came from all walks of life and travelled from different cities to Ogori just to attend this event.
All of us were quite shy initially when we first entered the room but after some interaction and food, we got accustomed to the locals quickly. Besides improving on our cross-cultural communication skills, interaction with the friendly locals give us a better understanding and familiarity with the Japanese culture and customs.
After the event, we went flower sightseeing with the locals. This is the season where poppy flowers are in bloom and the flowers create a lush of pink, red and white blanket over the fields and plains. We spent some time to wonder the trails and to view the poppy flowers as they gracefully swayed in the wind. The sight is simply wondrous.
It was indeed a fascinating end to a thoroughly engaging day.”
