Enjoy Fukuoka City

Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Students learning Japanese language in the short term porgram enjoyed walking around some famous spots in Fukuoka City this week.

[Ohori Park]
Rich in greenery and encircling a lake 2 kms in circumstance, Ohori Park is an oasis for city residents. They enjoy boating, bird watching, and other activities here.

[Fukuoka Castle Ruins]
Kuroda Nagamasa 黒田長政, the feudal lord of the region, started work on the castle in 1601. The ruins of what is also known as Maizuru Castle are now a public park where many people visit for cherry and Japanese plum blossom viewing.

They also visited NHK 日本放送協会, Japan’s national public broadcasting organization, and enjoyed watching a live broadcasting there.

But, they made an interesting dicovery. They found that the crows are very creepy and big!! (Jessicaさん from the U.S.)
