We had an excursion to Kumamoto! We worried about the weather because it had been raining when the day was coming. But we were quite lucky to have a very nice day! We visited one of the most active volcanoes in Japan, Mt. Aso, which is well-known for caldera. You can go up very close to the top crater which has a lake steaming up by the heat below. We went to some view points to look at this great nature here in Kyushu island. Then we visited a Japanese traditional castle in the middle of Kumamoto city, Kumamoto Casle. This was planned by a castle specialist and also one of the lords in battle age in Japan. You can see this beautiful castle in both outside and inside. Even many Japanese people visit this place and take photos! When you go up to the top, you can see 360° entire city because nobody can have higher building than this castle by the local regulation. We have plenty of sightseeing places in Kyushu, such as Kumamoto and you can enjoy not only nature but historical area in just one day from Fukuoka! Of course, every single student enjoyed this excursion!
