Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese lanuage school. Students learning Japanese language in our summer program visited Fukuya Foods Factory to look at the whole manufacturing process of mentaiko (cod ovum), well know specialty of Hakata. It was a very good opportunity to see a factory where they usually don’t visit. At the end of the tour at the factory, they tried mentaiko. Most of them have never tried it before, but they enjoyed its taste.
