Nobel Prize Winners in Japan

Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Today, we would like to introduce some of the Japanese who won the Nobel Prize.
[Yukawa Hideki 湯川秀樹 (1907-1981)/Physics in 1949]
Theoretical Physicisi. Yukawa proposed a theory of elemetary particles and a new theory of nuclear forces. Furthermore, he predicte the existence of mesons which lie between lectrons and protons in mass.

[Tomonaga Shinichiro 朝永振一郎 (1906-1979)/Physics in 1965]
Physicist. Tomonaga described the “renormalization theories.” he resolved difficult problems about the electromagnetic characteristics of elementary particles and helped in developing the basic principles of quantum electrodynamics.
