Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school.
We are on summer holidays now, but senior students come to school for counseling on choice of college/university. Many of the Japanese colleges/universities start in April, but they have to prepare for the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) held in mid-November. They may have to decide which college/university to appy for according to the result. We are now having this consultation with our students because many of them have not decided yet which college/university to apply for. Moreover, there are more than 700 colleges and universities in Japan. Students don’t know which college is good for the field they are interested in. We now help each of our student find the most suitable school for what he/she wants to learn further at a college/university in Japan.
