Living options

Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Today, we would like to introduce living options for students learning Japanese language in our intensive programs. We have a few living options.
[NILS dormitories]
NILS dormitories are located around the Ogori Campus. It takes you 3-10 minutes by bicycle. Each dormitory has 2-3 bedrooms, a dining/kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. Each bedroom is well furnished, so you can start a new life without any worry. The internet access is not available, so you have to make a contract with the internet service provider. While not available, you can use the internet at the school.
Most of our students are staying in NILS dormitories, and I believe this is the cheapest living option.

Leo-palace apartments are also located around the Ogori Campus. It takes you 5-15 minutes by bicycle. Most of them around the campus are one-room apartment with a small kitchen and a bathroom. It is well furnished. You can also use the internet on your arrival. Some of our students are staying in Leo-palace apartments.
This living option is suitable for one who wants to stay in his own private place.

[Gakusei-kaikan (Student Dorimtories)]
Its name “Student Dormitories” is a little bit confusing with NILS dormitories, but they are diferent from NILS dorms.
Gakusei-kaikans are located in Ohashi (Fukuoka City) and in Shimi-Ohori (Ohnojo City). Different from the above two living options, they provide you breakfast and supper every day except for Sundays, national holidays, the fifth Saturdays, and some other holidays designated by them. You are provided your own room with a small bathroom.
However, you will have to take a train to go to school, and it takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour from the dorm to the school. Moreover, it costs you JPY15,000-18,000 per month for transportation. Therefore, it may cost you higher than the other living options.
This living option is the most suitable for those who want to learn Japanese language in our short term programs held on the Ohashi Campus.
