Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Ogori City, where NILS main campus is located, has the Ogori International Association. They offer NILS students opportunities for home stay. The Association member families accept a few days home stay for our students. One of our students, who is from Spain, will stay with Mr. Yamashita of the Association. The student cooks very well, so Mr. Yamashita was asking him to cook some Spanish cuisine during home stay. I believe this must be a very good opportunity for our students because they can not only learn and experience Japanese culture but also introduce their culture to Japanese people. It will help us Japanese understand other countries’ culture, traditions, and the way of thinking.
When you join our program, you should definitely stay with a Japanese family to get to know more about our culture and traditions!
