Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. Today the regular classes for the January students started. No one was late for class today, and we hope they will keep high attendance ratio of more than 95%. It will take them some more time to get used a new life in Japan, but we hope they will attend all classes and study Japanese hard so that we can communicate with those new students ONLY in Japanese 3 months later.
Many of the January students don’t do well in hiragana and katakana, so they started with hiragana and katakana today. They are quite different from the letters of their languages, but we hope they will get used to them in one or two weeks.
They also learned a few basic sentences today, and we always try to talk with the new students using what they have learned in classes.
