Japan Meteorological Agency announced last Monday that the rainy season (梅雨／つゆ) was over in Kyushu area.
It has been very hot since May this year in Fukuoka. It is over 30 degrees Celsius every day. Today, we introduce a few words regarding temperature in summer.

夏日(なつび／Natsubi): A day on which the temperature rises above 25 degrees Celsius.
真夏日(まなつび／Manatsubi): A day on which the temperature rises above 30 degrees Celsius.
猛暑日(もうしょび／Mohshobi): A day on which the temperature rises above 35 degrees Celsius.
You will hear these words on TV and radio wether channels in summer.
