Hello, I am Yoshi from NILS Japanese language school. One of the largest events in Ogori City, Ogori Festival (scheduled on August 31) was cancelled because the typhoon is approaching to Kyushu area, and it will pass over the area in the afternoon tomorrow.
Our students, especially Nepali students who love festivals, are all disappointed with this notice of cancellation. We join this festival every year with the members of Ogori International Association. Students sing songs, dance, sell their country’s traditional dishes like Chinese dumplings, etc.
