We had a guidance today for all of our students to avoid troubles in Japan.
First, it is about how to throw away garbage. You have to separate garbage into 15 kinds here in Ogori City. Many of the students learning Japanese language at NILS are from countries where no such rules are seen, so it is their first time to separate garbage into several kinds. It must be taking them more time to get used to this rule on garbage diposal, but we hope they will try harder to follow this rule.
Next guidance was given by Ogori Police on laws and traffic rules in Japan. As the number of foreigners residing in Japan are increasing, we are anxious about more possibliities that our students may get involved in crimes against their wills. Each country has different laws and traffic rules, so NILS students must learn laws and rules of Japan. However, it is of course difficult to learn all of them, so the police picked up some topics related to our students.
We hope all of our students will enjoy their life in Japan without any troubles at all.
