You can enjoy fireworks displays everywhere in Japan during summer season.  Here in Fukuoka, there are some famous fireworks displays.  Today, I would like to introduce one of those fireworks displays.  It was held yesterday (August 7) in Kurume.  It is usually held on August 5, but it was rainy on that day this year, so it was postponed.  The fireworks display in Kurume is one of the largest displays in the western area of Japan.  You can enjoy 18,000 shots of fireworks there.  If you have a chance to visit Fukuoka, you should definitely go and see this fireworks display in Kurume!
