Let’s make a wish!

We have an annual event this time of each year. 7th July is the wishing day in Japan. When the day is coming, people write their wish on a special coloured paper called ‘Tanzaku’ and tie it to the bamboo tree (like the photo) hoping to the wish fulfilled! We usually have other Japanese tradition such as Origami (Paper folding), brush calligraphy writing, and tea ceremony.
