March 25-April 15 was the application period for this year’s first JLPT.

For students who are anxious about applying on their own, NILS provides assistance with the application process.

Before exam registration, a student must first create an ID and password to log in to the site. Your name, date of birth, and address in Japan are required.

Many students struggled with the address because they need to enter their information in Japanese.

The ID and password you create is used every time you take the test.

So students who have taken the JLPT before should already have their login information. But some students forgot their ID or Password so that they needed to start all over again.

Once you have your ID and password, you can use them to log in to the site and register for the JLPT exam.

After uploading your photo ID and selecting the payment method, the online application is complete.
Then you can pay the examination fee at a convenience store or ATM on your own!

It took about an hour since we all had to do it together, but we could manage to successfully complete the application process.

3月25日～4月15日は今年の第一回JLPTの申し込み期間でした。

JLPTを受験する学生はこの期間に各自で申し込みをするのですが、一人で申し込みをすることに不安がある学生に対して、NILSでは申し込みのサポートを行っています。

今回は4月3日・4日・５日にサポートを行いました。

試験の申し込みをする前に、まずはサイトにログインするためのIDとパスワードを作らなければなりません。名前・誕生日・住所などを入力します。住所は日本語で入力するので苦戦する学生が多かったです。また、作ったIDとパスワードは試験を受けるたびに使うので以前JLPTを受けたことがある学生はすでに持っているはずですが、自分のIDを覚えておらず最初から作り直すことになった学生もいました。

IDとパスワードができたらそれを使ってサイトにログインし、JLPTの試験の申し込みをします。証明写真をアップロードして、受験料の支払い方法を選択したらネットでの申し込みは完了です。あとは各自コンビニやATMで受験料を支払えばOK！

みんなで一緒にするので１時間ほどかかりましたが、何とか無事に申し込みすることができました。

あとは試験に向けて勉強するのみです！がんばれ！
