Hello, I am a staff of the Japanese school NILS. Today, I will write about how students continue their education after graduation.

We have integrated some special curriculums into our lessons to achieve higher education.
NILSで学んでいる学生の多くは、NILSを卒業した後に大学・専門学校で勉強をします。NILSで基本的な日本語の勉強をして、その後日本の大学や専門学校で日本語を使って日本でのビジネスのやり方・マナー学びます。彼らの人気のコースは自動車修理、ホテル、介護、ビジネス等です。
Many of the students studying at NILS continue their education at universities or professional training schools after graduation. They learn the basic Japanese language at NILS first and then master how to do business or behave in Japan in such higher institutions. Car repair, Hotel, Nursing, and Business are popular industries for them.
NILSでは卒業を控えた学生と将来どんなことをしたいのか、どんなことを学びたいのか進学カウンセリングを行います。カウンセリングでは実際の願書の書き方や提出書類を教えます。
Counseling service is available to final-year students for future opportunities at NILS. We teach how to write CVs and application forms.

オープンキャンパスって何でしょう？
What is Open Campus?
学校を知る最もいい方法は実際の学校を経験することです。
当校の学生の９割は進学を希望しています。オープンキャンパスは進学を希望する生徒への進学情報の提供の場です。
The best way to know better about a school is to visit the school and explore what you are looking for.
90% of students in our school wish to go on to higher education. Open campus day is the opportunity to distribute information to students who want to enroll in.
日本ではオープンキャンパスと呼ばれています
Many institutions open opportunities for prospective students who want to visit.
We call it ‘’Open Campus’’.
オープンキャンパスでは、学校の職員や生徒が様々なプログラムやイベントを提供しています。たとえば、大学の施設や教室の見学、学科や専攻の説明、学生寮や図書館の案内、キャンパスツアーなどです。
Staff and students organize various programs and events on Open Campus Day, such as inside tours of the institutions, department showcases, guides to student houses and libraries, and campus buildings.
校長の講演や模擬講義もうけることができ、その学校の雰囲気や施設、カリキュラム、教員、学生生活、学校の寮、入学試験の時期と試験のスタイルなどについて詳しく知ることができます。
Sometimes, prospective students can join sessions with the principal’s speech and trial classes. So, it is definitely a good time to know the school atmosphere, curriculum, teachers, life, student dormitories, tests, etc.
オープンキャンパスに参加することによって学生は進学した後の彼らのキヤンパス・ライフを想像することができるようになります。
そして実際に体験することによってその大学・専門学校のメリットやデメリットもしることができるのです。
You can imagine how your life would be there.
Also, you might find disadvantages, too.
どんな生活になるのか、どんなことを学べるのか実際にその大学や専門学校にいってみることで、自分の夢にも近づくことができ、間違いのない進学が可能になります。

コロナウイルスの影響で、コロナ以前ほどオープンキャンパスは活発ではありませんが、学生の第一志望校を学ぶ上でオープンキャンパスはいまだ最善の方法です。
対面のオープンキャンパスだけでなく、ズーム等のアプリを使って非対面式のものも行われています
However, we lost Open Campus opportunities during the COVID pandemic. Instead,
Virtual Open Campus services utilizing apps, like Zoom, are also underway, too these days.
我々はNILSに情報がくるオープンキャンパスの最新の情報を学生に伝えています。
行われる日付と時間だけでなく、どのように学校まで行くのか、参加はどのようにするのか、学生が迷わないように伝えています。
NILS is collecting information from many institutions to offer the latest Open Campus news.
What we provide to our students is updated information about opening hours, dates of course, the route, and how to join in.
NILSは来年の春に卒業する学生が200名を超える人数がいます。今年の夏は近隣の大学のキャンパスに貸し切りバスでオープンキャンパスに行く予定です。
More than 200 students at NILS will graduate next year. We will visit an Open Campus of a neighboring University by chartered bus this summer.
