Hello everyone.
It is now September and we are finally entering the season of higher education. Students who will graduate next March will have to decide what to do after graduation.
Today, I would like to talk about the information session for vocational schools and universities that was held the other day.
The venue was a hotel, and NILS students took a bus with their teachers. At the hotel, there were many booths set up by representatives of vocational schools and universities. The students went to talk about the schools and universities they were interested in.
The representatives from each school gave them the following information,
Characteristics of the school, contents of classes
School life, dormitories, part-time jobs
Career path after graduation
How to apply, contents of examinations, etc.
How to apply, what kind of examinations to take, and so on.
Students were able to obtain valuable information directly from the teachers of each school.
At NILS, we plan to hold this “College Guidance” several times as part of our classes.
Once the students have decided on the school they wish to enter, they can begin preparing for the entrance examinations.
During the “College Preparation Class,” homeroom teachers provide support for each student according to his or her school of choice. Specifically,
How to fill out the application form
Deciding when to apply and when to take the entrance examination
Preparation of necessary documents
Interview practice
Each vocational school or university has different requirements for documents and entrance examinations. It is important to read the information carefully and gather correct information about the school you wish to enter.
In the lobby of NILS, you will find a lot of information about vocational schools and universities. Information about open campuses also arrives one after another, so we post them to inform students.
Incidentally, at the guidance for higher education, we often hear from the person in charge of the school where NILS graduates have gone on to higher education, “Mr. XX, you are doing very well. Many NILS students continue to do their best even after graduation.
Please rest assured that we will support you until you decide where to go on to higher education!
