Mr. Andrey Zobnin from Russia learning Japanese language in NILS short term program gave a presentation on the last day of his program. We are very happy to hear that he enjoyed his stay in Japan with us.


“Hello, my name is Andrey Zobnin from Russia. I learned the Japanese language at NILS in Japan.
I arrived in Japan on January 15. This was my first trip and my first flight ever in my life. At first, I was a little worried about going abroad, but I felt relieved after all when I moved in the dormitory and the program strated. NILS teachers and staffs were all kind to me, and the classes were a lot of fun and very knowledgeable.

I did a lot of things during my stay here because I was free in the afternoon. I went out for lunch with my classmates, Gracie-san and Veronica-san. I tried many Japanese cuisines such as udon (うどん) and ramen (ラーメン). My favorite meals were ramen, shrimp tempura, and curry-rice.

During my stay in Japan, I visited Tenjin, Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Kyushu National Museum, Fukuoka Tower, Marine World, Fukuoka Motor Show 2012 at Fukuoka Dorm, etc. I liked Dazaifu Tenmangu and Fukuoka Motor Show 2012 the best.

I enjoyed lots of natures around the shrine, it was very beutiful. I also enjoyed the old architecture built hundreds years ago in the area. I found nice shops and got a lot of souvenirs for my family and friends. I could also see lots of historical artifacts at Kyushu National Museum locatd very close to the shrine.

I had a very good time at Fukuoka Motor Show 2012 at Fukuoka Dorm because I like driving so much. I could see many new cars and motorcycles and took many photos there. I like Japanese cars very much, especially Subaru.

I will never forget this trip to Japan because I had a lot of fascinating experiences here at NILS in Fukuoka. I want to come back here again sometime in the future!”
